What can I manage in the training section?

In the training days section you can manage the training units including some training exercises for your team. The training dates that are created will be visible on the calendar for all team members. You will also be able to include the performance and the morale of your players throughout the season.


Where can I find the training days?

Here is how to find the training days:
  • Click on "Team and exercises" which is on the top navigation bar.
  • Click on "Training days" which is on the navigation bar to the left of your screen.


General overview

up

In the "General overview" you will view the training units you have created on a table format. Besides the date you will also have the day of the week, the priority as well as the type of training.
  • In the general overview you can also review the training units.
  • In the general overview you can also delete the training units.

Create a new training session

To create a new training session click on the "Training days" title thats in the navigation bar to your left and then click on "New training" which is easily recognizable by the green addittion symbol.

You will have two possibilities when creating:

Create individual training units 

up

You can create up to ten individual training units by doing the following:
  • Click on "New training" on the navigation bar to the left (green addition symbol)
  • Choose from the right hand side at least a date and starting time for the training.
  • Eventually you can give out details such as the game time, the priority or the intensity by using the green indicator.
  • Once that is done click on the "Save" button underneath and the training units will be created.

Create various training units simultaneously for a specific time period

If you wish to establish a training session for the same day of the week at the same time you can do the following:
  • Click on "New training" on the navigation bar to the left (green addition symbol)
  • On the lower part of your screen to your right you will click on "Create training exercises for a specific time period".
  • Indicate the time period, the day of the week, the place, etc.
  • Then click on the "Save" button underneath and your training units will be created.

Review training units

To review the training unites you have multiple options:

Review individual training units

up

  • Select a training session of your choice from the navigation bar to the left.
  • Modify the data of your choice on the right hand side.
  • Confirm your changes by clicking on the "Save" button.

Review multiple training units

  • Select the "General overview" from the left side of your screen.
  • Select the training units you wish to review by ticking on the corresponding boxes so they are activated.
  • Click on the "Review a series of training units" button you will see right under the table.
  • Modify the data you wish to change.
  • Confirm your changes by clicking on "Save".

Delete training unit

up

To delete a training unit you have two possibilities.

Delete an individual training unit

up

  • Choose the training unit you wish to delete from the navigation bar on the left.
  • Click on the "Delete" button right underneath the training details.
  • Confirm this action by clicking the word "Yes" on the pop-up window that appears.

Delete multiple training units

up

  • Click on "General overview" from the navigation tab on the left.
  • Select the training units you wish to delete by ticking on the boxes next to them in order to activate them.
  • Click on the "Delete" button that is under the table format.
  • Confirm this action by clicking the word "Yes" on the pop-up window that appears.

Evaluating the participation in a training session

To follow a players training trends (with the help from Statistics) in a simple way, we would recomend you grade each player for every training unit.
  • Choose a training unit from the navigation bar on the left.
  • On the right hand side you will see a list of players that are present as well as a "Grade" zone.
  • Now give each player a grade according to your best judgement.
  • Confirm the evaluation by clicking on "Save".

Attendance management

When a training unit is created, all players will be listed as assisting by default. However, this data will only be adapted the the attendance figures once the training unit has been reviewed and saved at least once. Keep in mind that you can only review the attendance figures in the general training session details. Thanks to the "General overview" entry the function" you can open does no include this particular tool.
  • Choose the corresponding training session from the navigation bar to the left of your screen.
  • On the right side you will be able to move the players to the absentees list by using the blue arrows pointing down.
  • If you wish to move players who were listed as absent back to the list of those who were present please use the blue arrows pointing up.
  • Select a reason to justify the absence or injury.

Now you will have the chance to automatically adopt attendance lists from other training days. Click on the "Adopt assistance list" and choose the training unit you wish to adopt the assistance list from the selection field. Confirm this step by clicking on"OK" and the attendance list will be adopted.


Use Easy2Coach database exercices for your training

To use public or private exercises from Easy2Coach for your own training units, please do the following:
  • Select a training unit from the navigation bar on the left.
  • Click on the "Exercises" tab you will view on the right hand side of your screen.
  • Use the search option to find exercises within the "e2c" database.
  • Add exercises you consider adequate to your training by clicking on the green addition symbol

Additionally you will have the possibility the generate a free exercise for your training. Just click on "Add free exercise". Enter the details on this exercise in the window that will pop up. By clicking on "Add", the exercise will be added to your training.

To use exercises from past training units go to the "Past units" tab. Select the exercises from each training unit and click on "Adopt". Confirm the action by clicking on the "Yes" button in the window. The adpoted exercises will now be visible in a second tab named "Exercises".


Add comment

You will have the possibility to add an additional comment to each training unit. For this purpose go to "Comment" and fill in the text field with all the additional details for that training day. To adopt the comment please click on "Save". You will be able to edit or delete the comment at any time.


Message blackboard

up

The message blackboard will give both the coaches and players the possibility to leave messages. All you have to do is go to the "Message blackboard" tab and use the "Write message on blackboard" funciton to leave a message that can be viewed by everyone.
