COE (SA) Isolated Training: Feints w/ Timing

    OBJECTIVE:

    Improve timing and technique when performing feints  

    SET UP:

    Disc cones set up 16-20 m a partTall Cone between disc cones2-3 players w/ a ball on disc cones 

  • Process

    PROCEDURE:

    • Players from opposite side begin by dribbling to central tall cone which represents a DF
    • Players should leave disc cone at the same time and arrive at tall cone at the same time
    • Perform designated feint without colliding into cone or player on opposite side
    • Accelerate away

     VARIATIONS (choose 3-4):

    • Side step
    • Double side-step
    • Scissors
    • Double Scissors
    • Etc…

    ** Be sure to practice using both feet when performing each Feint. **
