COE (SA) Technical Training -

    OBJECTIVE:

    Improve players ability to distinguish between a safe and risky pass. Improve ability to create an angle to receive from teammate.

     SET UP:

    • 30m x 30m
      • Split into 4 squares
    • Players in groups of 2 or 3

     

  • Process

    PROCEDURE:

    • Players must keep move the ball while avoiding the other teams
    • Teammate must be in a different quadrant in order to receive
    • After passing, player must move into a new quadrant
      • Players should recognize where their other teammates are and avoid going into the same box as them; maintain balance
    • Practice first then relay
    • Relay: First Team to 15 passes without colliding or losing the ball
    • 3 Rounds:
      • Open
      • Weak Foot Only
      • 2-Touch
