NT Warm-up Passing and Receiving 1

  • Organisation

    Field Set Up:

    Length of passes may vary

    Equipment:

    Tall cones, disc cones, balls

  • Process

    2 or 3 lines depending on number of players

    5-8 players per line

    - Player 1 plays it to player 2.

    -Player 2 sets it to player 1 

    -Player 1 plays it to player 3 who dribbles back to the starting line

    -After player passes, they go to the line they pass it to (Player 1 to middle cone, Player 2 to side cone, and Player 3 to start cone)

    -Next set of players can go immediately

    Progression:

    -Player 1 plays it to player 3

    -Player 3 sets it back to player 2 for a one-two combination

    -Player 3 dribbles to start line

    -Rotation is still the same as first drill
