As soon as players arrive, they pair up & pass the ball. Players should stand about 2-3 yards apart & try to one touch pass to each other. Keep on their toes.
After 2 minutes and still in their pairs, players then throw the ball to each other to head it back. Each players does this for 1 minute each.
Players now get into 2 lines and do shuttle runs against each other. Sprinting between 3 sets of cones, 5 yards apart
Dynamic stretches 2 sets
a) Groin Stretch. Out to In & jog back
b) Groin Stretch. In to Out & jog back
c) Quick Feet & jog back
d) High Knees & jog back
e) Forward shuffle & jog back
f) Backward shuffle & jog back
g) Forward lunge & jog back
h) Cross overs & jog back
I) Heal taps & jog back
j) Sprint & jog back
Split numbers of players into 4 groups, each group into a 18x5 yard zone. Number each player 1-4 or how ever many you have.
Pass in number sequence, i.e. 1 to 2, 2 to 3 etc. For 2 minutes.
Player keep passing, but when they get to the last number, they pass into another zone. i.e. Zone 1 passes into Zone 3 & Zone 2 passes into Zone 4.
These players do the same as the beginning & then pass back into Zone that the ball started. i.e. Zone 3 passes to Zone 1. 4 Minutes
