    Materials: Balls, cones
  • Process

    Divide the team in groups of 4 players each. Each group sets up a line of three cones and gets a ball. The distance between the cones is 10-12m. One player is at each cone except one cone with two players, this cone has the ball. Player A passes to player B and follows his pass. Player B lays the ball off for player A and turns towards player C. Player A plays towards player C and takes up the position of player B. Player C lays the ball off for player B, encircles his cone and gets the ball from player B to run on to. Player B takes up the position of player C and player C plays a long pass in the air to player D, follows his pass and queues up behind player D. Player D plays to player A , as a result the drill turns. Tip: Is this drill part of the warm-up, the intensity and speed of the movements should be moderate. Variations: - The players pass only with the left or right foot - Only direct passes are allowed
