1v1 | 3v1 in Possession

  • Organisation

    • 4 cones (to mark the field)

Split players into groups of three.

  • Process

Inside the field, two players will be playing 1v1.

The four remaining players (two teammates of the players in the center each) will support their teammate in possession (turns into 3v1 possession game).

They will position themselves according to the graphic.

The goal is to keep possession amongst the three players for as long as possible.

However, the two players on the outside, supporting the player on the inside, are not allowed to pass with each other.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • When receiving the ball in the center of the field, always try to shift your body between the ball and the opponent

    • Use little feints to create passing angles

  • Field size

    15 x 15 meters
