• 1 goal (with a goalkeeper)
• 2-4 cones (to mark the finish line)
The coach starts the drill with a clipped ball.
The yellow team has the goal to stay in possession throughout the drill and can use their goalkeeper as an additional player when building an attack.
If the yellow team stays in possession for 30 seconds, they receive 1 point.
After the 30 seconds, the yellow team can pass the ball forward and either play the ball to the coach or dribble over the marked finish line to receive another point (1 point).
If the Blue team wins the ball, they receive a point.
If they score a goal after having won the ball, they receive another 2 points.
Coaching Points:
• Use the full size of the playing field
• Always play out of the pressure (switches)
• Switch the point of attack fast (use two touches to play past positions)
• If there is a chance to switch the point of attack, don't play back into the pressure
Mark a finish line 10m behind the halfway line
