• Cones to set up mini-goals and boundaries
Assign attacker and defender their positions (see diagram). Limit the playing area to the center with cones.
The game starts with a 1 vs 1 from a short distance. The defender blocks the inside path, slowly retreats, and steers the attacker outside. After gaining possession, the defender counters towards the mini-goal.
The drill can be executed simultaneously from both sides.

• Low center of gravity
• Act on the balls of your feet
• Close down quickly and adjust speed in time
