Initially, the two teams play only amongst themselves and without opponents. Once the sequence is clear, they can play against each other with just one ball.
The side players are not allowed to enter the square and can only move between their two adjacent cones. The side players have a maximum of 2 touches. The players in the middle try to keep the ball within their ranks. If the ball is played outwards, the two central players immediately try to offer 2 passing options for the side player (forming a triangle).
Variation: The side player plays or dribbles the ball into the field. The passer then smoothly takes up the side position.
