2v2 from coast to coast

  • Organisation

    • 4 cones

    Divide players into teams of 4 players.

  • Process

    The teams will play in a 2v2.

    Every team has two additional players outside of the square.

    The goal is to stay in possession and play from one additional player with the two players inside the field to the other player on the outside.

    The two players have to make sure to make runs off the ball and combine to stay in possession for as long as possible.

    Every combination play from one side to the other is a point for the team in possession.

    The goal of the other two players is to regain and stay in possession as well.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Use the additional players to stay in possession and keep the opponents in motion

    • The team that is not in possession has to counterpress immediately to win the ball back
