6v6 with 2 neutral Players

  • Organisation

    • 2 goals

    • 4-6 cones (to mark the playing field)

  • Process

The game is played in a 6v6 with two neutral players on each wing and unlimited touches for the players inside the field.

The neutral players on the wing, however, are only allowed one touch and they can only play with the team in possession.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Team in possession should use the wing players and many switches to pass the ball forward quickly and create space in the final third

    • Defending team has to stay tight and block passing lanes

    • Runs off the ball are crucial for the team in possession (the wing players only have one touch)

  • Field size

Half-field and width until the edge of the penalty box; crossing zone between the penalty box and the sideline
