Ball Control and Flat Passing

  • Organisation

    • 1 bench/wall
    • 2 cones
  • Process

The player positions themselves behind the two cones and plays the ball flat against the wall/bench multiple times (for about 30 seconds per round). The following tasks can be performed:

    • Stop the ball with the inside of the foot and play it back to the wall with the same foot.
    • Take the ball forward diagonally with the inside of the foot and play it against the wall with the other foot.
    • Play the ball directly against the wall.
    • Take the ball sideways with the outside of the foot and play it against the wall.
    • Take the ball forward diagonally with the inside of the foot. Then, carry the ball further once with the outside of the foot and then pass it against the wall.
    • Play the ball directly against the wall. Gradually increase the distance from the wall as the exercise progresses.
