• 1 dummy in the middle (or a defender)
• 3 cones
The goalkeeper plays a sharp pass to the right or left to the players positioned between the two cones. The receiving player takes the ball in an open position and passes it to the upper midfielder. The midfielder dribbles past the dummy or defender using a feint and then takes a shot on goal.
Coaching Points
• Goalkeeper: Play passes with enough pace. Target the front foot of the receiver.
• Receiving player on the left/right: Play the ball deep with the second touch. Offer support in an open stance.
• Upper player: Take the ball directly into your stride and accelerate. Use a feint and change of pace to get past the dummy or defender.
• Variation: The players on the left and right can incorporate a running feint before receiving the pass (move deep, then come back short).
