Let the players freely move the ball in a 3-5-2 formation. Gradually incorporate the following solutions:
Variant 1: The holding midfielders (number 6s) position themselves wide, opening up the center. The center-back plays the ball to the number 10, who lays it off to the number 6.
Variant 2: The forward drops back slightly and lays it off to the nearside number 6. The fullback makes a run into depth.

For Variant 2: The holding midfielders should position themselves more centrally and not in the half-space to avoid blocking the center-back's passing lane to the forward. Play the pass into depth with sufficient sharpness.
