Competition Format - Dribbling Relay

  • Organisation

    • 2 sets of 7 poles/cones
    • 2 sets of 2-4 rings
  • Process

Set up the obstacles as shown in the diagram. Two teams compete against each other in a relay race. One player from each team starts with the course and passes the ball to a teammate after the last cone.

Depending on the skill level, distances, and the number of obstacles can be varied. It is important to navigate the obstacles as quickly as possible - as a competitive exercise. As motivation, the losing team can be given an extra task (short sprints, squats, etc.).

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • To get accustomed to a high dribbling pace, start with 2-3 rounds without competition.
    • Also, pay attention to ball reception.
    • Keep your eyes off the ball.
