Coordination and Technique

  • Organisation

    • Set up 6 poles and 6 hurdles.
    • Use 2 poles as corner points and arrange 4 poles as a slalom course.
  • Process

    • Dribble through the slalom around the poles.
    • Coordination run starts when the dribbler reaches the last pole.
    • The dribbler stops the ball in the middle and receives a pass from their counterpart. This is followed by a triple pass.
    • The coordination runner either receives the ball in the middle or plays a direct pass to their counterpart. This is followed by a triple pass.
  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Play & Go with changes of pace.
    • Sharp passing.
    • Encourage communication.
