Player A passes to the oncoming player B. Depending on the instructions or the situation, B either lets the ball bounce to D or C. The player who isn't passed to starts running deep, receives the ball in the gap, and shoots on goal. If the defender doesn't react decisively, B should turn in the center (command) and take a shot in a 1v1 situation. If the defender wins the ball, they counter-attack towards the mini goal.
Coaching Points:
• Player A: Play the pass with enough pace and give the command "turn" or "bounce".
• Player B: Let the ball bounce with the far foot if the defender is closely following.
• Players C and D: Coordinate their actions. The recipient of the bounce pass should move away slightly beforehand so that the pass is not played sideways but diagonally backward. The ball should then be played into depth preferably with the first touch. The player running into depth should focus on timing. The run into depth should be executed at maximum speed. Ideally, the ball should be played into depth when players C or D are at the level of the poles or just before.
