Counterattack from own half

  • Organisation

    • 4 cones to build a rectangle in your own half
    • Divide 5 against 5 or more
    • Each team has 2 additional players in the other half

  • Process

In the rectangle plays on holding the ball (green in the picture). When the other team (Black) wins the ball, they try to play a tip as quickly as possible and then move up immediately. The aim is to score a goal on the other side.

    Alternatives

    • Both teams play to keep the ball. The team that plays 5 passes may pass out to its 2 players

    • After 5 passes, no further pass is played to the tips, but one player dribbles out and a majority situation arises

  • Tip

    Coaching Points

    • Offside is played from the pass to the front. In this way, the defenders can delay the game and give their teammates the chance to move up and restore the basic order
    • Immediately move up compactly to support the tip
    • Precise passing through to fast scoring
