Creating and Capitalizing on Goal Scoring Opportunities

  • Organisation

    • Cones to mark fields and positions
    • Set up Station A and a playing field Station B
    • Divide into three teams
  • Process

    • Station A:
      • The first player in the middle dribbles and shoots at the goal with a goalkeeper.
      • The second player in the middle dribbles and also shoots at the goal.
      • The right winger crosses into the middle to the two central attackers. Then the second round follows, and so on.
    • Station B:
      • Two teams play 3-3 or 4-4 towards one goal with a goalkeeper.
      • The goalkeeper starts the game with a throw to a player from the red team, who is positioned at one of the corner markers (yellow cones).
      • The red team chooses the player and the point of player opening through communication independently.
      • If a goal is scored, the team retains possession through a new player opening by the goalkeeper. If the ball goes out, the throw-in rule applies, and the start of the new round always begins with the goalkeeper.
