Different Types of Passes

  • Organisation

    • 6 cones
  • Process

      • Player A passes to player B, who lets the ball bounce. Player A passes to player C. Player C dribbles to the cone and joins the back of the line.
      • A runs to B, and B runs to C.
      • Player A alternates passing after the bounce with players C and D.
    • Variation:
      • Players C and D can incorporate a slalom dribble or a feint.
      • Player A passes to player C, who then bounces the ball to player B.
      • Player B then plays a ball into the path of player C.
  • Tip

    • Coaching Points:
      • Correct pass intensity.
      • Passing with both feet.
      • Perform initial movement.
      • Player B: Let the ball bounce with the foot furthest from the opponent.
      • Player B: After the bounce, move sideways to the side not being played.
      • Player A: Pass sharply into space for C/D.
      • Players C and D: Drop back first, then start moving towards the pass and take the ball directly into motion.
