Double Coordination Course with Passing & Aerial Technique

  • Organisation

    • 1 coordination ladder
    • 5 rings
    • 3 small hurdles
    • 4 pole hurdles (set low for two-footed jumping)
    • Balls and cones, set up as shown in the diagram
  • Process

Divide the team into 2 teams, each of which completes one of the courses, and switch after half of the time.

The goal is to create a circuit where coordination and ground passing on one hand, and aerial technique on the other, are trained.

Course 1: The player runs to the rings, takes two touches in each ring while hopping to the right, performs a give-and-go pass. Then repeat on the left side. Afterward, hop towards the center, sprint to the coordination ladder, which can be passed through with various techniques. Finish with a final give-and-go pass with the central player and then sprint in a curve back to the starting position.

Course 2: Perform two-footed jumps sideways and forwards over the hurdles. Execute a half-height give-and-go pass with a teammate, then cross the next hurdles. Follow this with another half-height give-and-go pass, and then the final hurdle jump followed by a give-and-go pass using a header.

  • Tip

Constantly rotate the players who initiate the passes.
