Dribbling with Passing in a Square

  • Organisation

    • 8 cones

    • Mark 2 squares (inside and outside) with the cones

  • Process

The players dribble inside the small square and then pass to an open player located on the outside of the bigger square.

The player that passed the ball then follows his pass and takes over the position of the receiver.

Player receiving the ball will dribble into the field and find a new open player.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Steady dribbling inside the square

    • Make sure to include tasks after warming-up, e.g. body feints, specific skills, tricks

    • Increase intensity as drill continues
