Endurance competition with goal kick

  • Organisation

    • 4 goals
    • Place cones/cones/discs of a certain colour in the goal or next to it.
    • Divide into 3 teams and allocate colour/cones
    • 7 cones, 3 of them centrally in the colour of the 3 teams
    • One ball per team
    • Assign a number to each player in the team (in the example 1-4)

  • Process

The 3 teams run around the playing field as a group, one behind the other, according to their assigned number.

The coach gives a command calling out a number and a colour of the goal. In the example, the coach has called out "2" and "Red".

Then the player from each group with this number must run towards their ball and try to place the ball in the goal with the announced colour.

A point is awarded to the team that has shot the ball into the correct goal first.

The players bring their balls back to their cone in the middle and rejoin their group at their position. The rest of the group continues to run continuously.

The next command can come as soon as the first ball is back in the middle so that the players keep up the pace.

  • Tip

    Alternatives

    • All players have a ball on their foot - on the command, the players have to dribble around their little hat in the middle once and then finish on the respective goal.

    • Instead of colours and/or numbers, use other expressions such as animal names, fruit, etc.

  • Field size

    • 20 x 20m
