Goalkeeper Training I

  • Organisation

    • 4 large cones forming a square
    • 2 large cones as goals in front of it
    • Various differently colored small cones inside the square
  • Process

    • The coach/partner calls out a sequence of colors.
    • Upon a signal, the goalkeeper starts and circles the square in a crouched position, always facing the coach.
    • After completing a round, the goalkeeper touches the cones in the sequence called out by the coach and then runs between the two cones serving as goals.
    • The coach shoots the ball as quickly as possible, and the goalkeeper must defend the shot.
  • Tip

    • The exercise can also be done with multiple goalkeepers, with the next goalkeeper starting immediately after the shot from the coach.
