Interval Runs I

  • Organisation

    • 4 cones to mark the track
    • Side tracks = 100m each
    • Baseline tracks = 50m each
  • Process

    • Players run around the field and complete predetermined running distances within 2 minutes each.
    • Between runs, players jog for 2 minutes.

    Distances:

    • 2 x 300 m
    • 2 x 350 m
    • 2 x 400 m
    • 2 x 450 m
    • 2 x 500 m
    • 1 x 400 m
    • 1 x 300 m
  • Tip

    • Runs should be performed to complete the distances within the given time.
    • Players should be able to assess their own capabilities well.
