The dummies/cones are set up as opponents about 15-20 meters from the goal line. Three players position themselves to receive the ball for the player opening. These players move into position. There are 2 variants that can be practiced:
A player passes back to the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper must then quickly decide which of the other two players the ball can be passed to in order to shift the play.
A player takes a shot on goal. The goalkeeper must make a quick opening after catching the ball or retrieve it quickly from the goal. The exercise can be expanded so that while one player shoots, one of the other two takes a ball to finish afterwards. Then the goalkeeper must also decide which player does not have a ball to serve.
Tip
Coaching Point:
Players are constantly moving and offering themselves.
