Pass-Dribble Loop

  • Organisation

    • Set up two cone goals (red) at a distance of about 10m from each other.
    • Place two turning cones (yellow) behind each goal, offset at a distance of about 5-10m from the goals.
  • Process

    Two players stand facing each other, each with a ball.

    They pass the ball to each other simultaneously, receive it, and then dribble around the right cone.

    Return to the goal, pass again, and then dribble around the left cone, and so on.

  • Tip

    Variations:

    1. For the right cone, dribble with the right foot on the way there and with the left foot on the way back, and pass with the left. For the left cone, do the opposite.
    2. Different dribbling tasks, e.g., with the sole, left foot only, right foot only, backward, etc.
    3. Pick up the ball at the goal with your hand and make a throw-in instead of a pass, or alternate between passing and throwing.
    4. Reposition the turning cones - e.g., at a 90° angle to the goals - thus making the ball control sharp to the right or left.
