Passes with Ball Reception

  • Organisation

    • Set up cone goals with a width of 2m
    • 2 players per cone goal
    • 2 players each have a ball
  • Process

    Players position themselves as shown in the diagram. Players pass the ball back and forth through the passing gates. The players must play the ball using their left foot, right foot, directly, and with the second touch. Players never stand still, always in slight movement (forward and backward). Moreover, players always move towards the pass. The goal is to improve precise passing.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points 

    • After each pass, step back to move towards the next pass.
    • Be on the balls of your feet.
    • Gradually increase the sharpness of passes.
    • Lean the upper body over the ball (avoid leaning back).
    • Vary the distances between players.
