Passing and Dribbling

  • Organisation

    • Set up 6 cones as shown in the picture

  • Process

    Player A passes to B, who then returns the ball with a clap. A passes the ball to C. C dribbles to the lower cone and positions themselves at A's starting point. A moves to B's position, and B to C's position. A alternately passes to C and D after the clap.

    Variation: A passes to C, who claps for B. B plays the ball into the path of C.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Player A: Play to B's far foot. Pass to C or D with sufficient sharpness.
    • Players C and D: Get into position before receiving the pass. Start the run as the pass comes and take the ball directly into motion. Maintain maximum speed until reaching the lower cone.
    • Allow players C and D to dribble at maximum speed only after a few minutes to ensure adequate warm-up.
