Passing Drill with Coordination

  • Organisation

    • 2 cones
    • 6-8 poles
    • 8-10 rings
    • Divide into 2 equal-sized groups
    • 1 ball
  • Process

    The first player from Group A passes the ball to Group B and then weaves through the poles on the left side. Player B receives the ball, passes it back to Group A, and then navigates through the rings, performing various tasks (short steps forward, sideways, backward, in and out, etc.). The players then line up at the back of the other group.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Start with 2 touches before allowing direct passes.
    • Demand high quality in the coordination tasks.
