Passing, Shooting, and Crossing Drill

  • Organisation

    • Set up 4 cones to mark positions.
    • 1 goal.
    • 2 balls per round at position A.
  • Process

    • A has the ball centrally.
    • A passes to the oncoming B. B receives the ball, turns, and shoots. B then returns directly to their position.
    • A passes another ball to C. At that moment, D starts running down the wing. C lays off the ball, and A plays a through pass to D.
    • D crosses the ball, and B starts their run to try to convert the cross.
  • Tip

    • Coaching Points:
      • Emphasize the quality of passes to maintain the pace of the drill.
