Power and Coordination Run

  • Process

    • Coordination course: The ball is moved up and down with extended arms while running. Footwork tasks of the running ABC (butt kicks, high knees, side steps, crossover run) are performed. Later on this course, there is a very fast dribbling.
    • Hurdle course 1: The ball is passed under the 3 hurdles. The player jumps over the hurdles with both feet and retrieves the ball. Afterwards, the pole is dribbled around with a feint.
    • Hurdle course 2: Players dribble through the cone course. Afterwards, they go past the slalom pole with a feint and dribble through the 2nd cone course.
    • Hurdle course 3 is dribbled through like cone course 1.
  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Increase speed gradually
    • All exercises should be performed correctly with quality
    • Dribble with both feet, including the weaker one
