Rondo | Attacking Pattern: Transition Play to the Wings

  • Organisation

    • Set up a square with dimensions 7 x 7 meters in the center circle
    • Place a vertical pole on both the right and left wings, as well as one in the center
    • Inside the square, Yellow plays against Blue in a 4 vs. 2 possession game
    • One player from Yellow and one player from Blue play the ball back and forth at the poles

  • Process

When Blue wins the ball inside the square, an attacking action towards the large goal begins. Now, all players in the field join the action and try to create a goal-scoring opportunity.

When Yellow completes 7 passes inside the square, they can also initiate the attacking action.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points

    • During transitions, make sure the balls played at the poles go out of bounds
