Sprint with Coordination: Color Sprint

  • Organisation

    • 18 cones in 3 different colors
    • 2 starting pylons
  • Process

    • The two teams compete against each other in a race.
    • Upon the trainer's command, sprint to the respective color.
    • Instead of colors, assign fruits, names, professions, etc., to the cones.
    • Feel free to alternate the categories when calling them out.
  • Tip

    Coaching Points

    • Variation 1: Before sprinting to the cones, go through a coordination ladder (with various exercises). The starting signal still remains the trainer's command. Players must remember the color while performing the coordination exercise.
