Target Zone Game

  • Organisation

    • Divide into 2 teams
    • Define the field size based on the number of players (in this exercise, 5 vs. 5)
    • Use 16 cones (in 4 colors)
    • Have enough balls to keep the game running quickly

  • Process

The teams play against each other within the designated field.

The objective of the game is to play a pass to a player so that they can reach the ball in one of the target zones. If a player is already inside the field when they receive the ball, the pass is considered offside, and the opposing team gains possession.

To promote players' quick decision-making and transition play, you can mark the squares in the field with 4 different cone colors. The coach can then call out colors during the game (1-3 colors). Points can only be scored in the squares with the corresponding colors.

  • Field size

    • Suitable for 5 vs. 5 as shown in the image; adjust according to the number of players.
