Tempo Dribbling with Finishing

  • Organisation

    • 2 Goals
    • 4 Poles
    • 6 Cones
    • 4-8 Markers
  • Process

Both goalkeepers simultaneously initiate the action by rolling the ball into the path of the player next to them. Players receive the ball in motion and start dribbling through the poles, then finish on goal. Afterward, they line up on the other side, creating a continuous circuit.

    Variation:

    • Start on the opposite side and dribble and shoot with the other foot
    • The coach specifies whether to dribble past the poles, outside, or inside
    • Players simultaneously play a low and a high pass to each other and incorporate it into their movement
  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Take the ball directly into motion
    • Release focus from the ball before the shot
