Warm-up: Swiss Drill

  • Process

    At the start, there is one ball each at the top and bottom groups. The first two players simultaneously dribble the ball towards the center and then pass to the next group on the left. The recipients of the passes also dribble towards the center and then pass to the left. The exercise continues as an endless passing drill. After passing, players run to the opposite group.

    Coaching Points

    • Take the ball with the first touch directly into motion
    • Gradually increase the tempo
    • Demand a quick change of pace after passing
