Warm-up with the Ball

  • Organisation

    • 16 cones to set up 4 squares.

  • Process

    Exercise 1: Each player dribbles with the ball directly towards another player and performs a feint.

    Exercise 2: 1 player without the ball, the rest with the ball. The player without the ball tries to shoot the ball away from the other players.

    Exercise 3: Half of the players have a ball, the other half don't. The players with the ball must prevent a player without a ball from getting their ball.

    Exercise 4: Half of the players have a ball in hand. A player without the ball is played to, and then receives the ball back.

  • Tip

    Coaching Points:

    • Start exercises casually and increase the tempo.
