Warm-up with the Ball in Pairs

  • Organisation

    • Pair up into teams of two.
    • Each pair has one ball.
  • Process

    • Run a lap around the entire field performing the prescribed exercise. Afterwards, players switch sides so both can be utilized.
    1. Players pass back and forth, allowed one touch to control the ball.
    2. Players pass directly to each other without a controlling touch.
    3. One player throws the ball at hip height, the other returns it with a volley.
    4. One player throws the ball, the other returns it with a header.
    5. One player throws the ball, the other performs a chest control and returns it with a volley.
    6. Players pass the ball back and forth using only their hands.
    7. Players pass the ball with their hands along the ground to the other player.
    8. Players juggle the ball with their feet back and forth.
