A square at 18-yard-box height is marked out with cones. A goal is set up on the end line, with a goalkeeper inside. A minimum of 2 field players position themselves to the right and in front of the square at the respective cones. The player standing in front has the ball.n
Procedure
The blue player dribbles at top speed into the square toward the goal to shoot. The blue player standing to the right tries to start simultaneously and prevent the attacker from dribbling through the cone square. If the attacker successfully gets through the square, he can finish on goal without defensive pressure.
Tip
- The attacker tries to use his sprint speed advantage. - The defender tries to close down the attacker as early as possible so that the attacker cannot build up speed, and if possible positions his body between himself and the attacker with the shoulder forward. - 6 cones, 1 full-size goal(s)
