1v1 Passing and Follow-Up Action

Setup

  • Set up 4 cones to mark the field.
  • Use 8 cones to create gate goals.

Procedure

One player is positioned with the ball on each side of the field. The players stand behind gate goals with a width of 3 meters.

Two players engage in a 1v1 duel within the field. The attacking player requests the ball from one of the outer players. Upon receiving the ball, they enter the 1v1 duel and attempt to pass to another player. If successful, they earn a point.

If the defender wins possession, they can also pass to an outer player to earn a point and gain attacking rights.

End the exercise based on time or points.

Tip

Coaching Points:

  • Perform body feints before the first touch.
  • Attempt to open up with the first touch.
  • When the opponent is directly behind: control the ball with the far foot.
  • Shift the body weight adequately during body feints.
