2 + 2 vs 2

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of a cone square according to the graphic. There are two players per team on the field and two players position themselves on the outside.

Procedure

The result is a game two against two, with the players in the square having free play and their two teammates on the outside lines being allowed to play a one-two. However, they can only play with one contact. The outsiders may not attack each other. The outside player may also pass to the second player. Variant: If an outside player is played, he changes position with the passer.

Tip

- This form of play requires an enormous amount of running and understanding of the game and is characterized by constant communication and an interplay between the players and players in the square. - The teams should be constantly on the move. The players constantly try to offer themselves and to be available to their fellow players as a reference station. - Triangles should be formed regularly. - This form of play trains the short pass game, play in tight spaces, side shift and duel behavior. - 4 cones
