2 against 2 + 1 means 3-2 alternately

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19

Setup

Construction of a playing field with two goals. A goalkeeper goes into each goal. The center line is marked with two cones. The players go into the field according to the drawing.

Procedure

You can play 2 against 2 in each of the two halves of the game without limiting the number of ball contacts. In principle, the four players who are assigned to a game zone are not allowed to cross the center line. When the attack starts, a defender can join in the other half of the game. Then there is an overpowered game 3 against 2. However, only if he passes the ball from his own half into the opposing half or if he dribbles over the center line. The goalkeepers always open the game. So there are 2 attackers and 2 defenders in each zone. It is played 4 against 4 resulting in a 3 against 2 or 2 against 2 in the zones.

Tip

- The goalkeeper must initiate the game immediately after the opponent's attack. - The attackers become defenders after losing the ball and attack the two opposing players. - The team in possession of the ball should move the ball forward from the defensive zone as quickly as possible. - The two attackers should stand staggered. A deep close to the goalkeeper and the other towards the center line to provide all-round stations. - There is a constant interplay of attack and defense. - The teams change after 2 minutes. - 6 cones or more, 2 large field goal (s)
