A goal is set up on each end of the field with a goalkeeper in each. 4 field players take their positions as shown in the diagram; the remaining players stand beside the goal. The red team has possession.
Procedure
Both teams play 2 vs 2. A constant interplay between attack and defence develops. Man-marking is used without handing off. This greatly develops tackling ability, decision-making speed, and transitioning from attack to defence and vice versa. Play is started by the goalkeeper.
Tip
- After losing the ball, the team must immediately switch to defence. - The ball is constantly in the danger zone. - The faster and more precisely the goalkeeper starts play, the more chances the team in possession has. - Playing time should not exceed 1 minute before taking a break. - Constantly demand a high playing tempo. - The attacking players should repeatedly dribble. - The defenders must constantly shift and pressure the player on the ball. - 2 full-size goal(s)
