A field with one goal is set up as shown in the diagram. Two attackers and two defenders position themselves at the level of the 18-yard box, a goalkeeper goes in the goal, and a crosser with a ball stands on each wing.
Procedure
The crosser dribbles toward the end line and crosses into the centre of the penalty area. The two strikers make crossing runs and try to finish the cross, meeting two defenders who try to prevent it. Then the crosser on the right side of the attack starts.
Tip
- During aerial duels, ensure fair challenges (no elbows). - Demand body contact. - The defending players try either to get to the ball before the attacker or to position themselves between attacker and goal to clear the attack from there. - The attacking players cross toward the near and far post. - 1 full-size goal(s)
