A field is set up with cones as shown in the diagram. A goalkeeper goes into each of the two goals. 3 teams of three players are formed (red, blue, and yellow). To mark the midfield line, a cone is placed on each sideline and in the centre of the field.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn nnnnnnnnnnnnn
Procedure
Team blue starts the game against team yellow. The objective of the team in possession is to score. If the attack is completed (goal scored) or the defending team wins the ball and manages to dribble over the midfield line, team yellow switches from defending to attacking and now plays in the other field against defensive team red. If team red wins the ball and manages to dribble over the midfield line, or if team yellow successfully scores, team red switches to attack and plays in the other field against team blue. The game continues in constant rotation following this pattern.
Tip
- The focus of this game format is on the constant interplay between attack and defence as well as quick transition from defence to attack. - On offence, constant movement, communication, and quick, precise passing are required. - Offensive players should constantly seek 1 vs 1 situations. - 7 cones, 2 full-size goal(s)
