On both ends of the field, a goal is set up with a goalkeeper in each. 6 field players take their positions on the field as shown in the diagram; the remaining players stand next to the goal. The red team has possession.
Procedure
Both teams play 3 vs. 3 + goalkeeper with unlimited touches. The team in possession spreads the play wide and positions a central forward in front of the opposing goalkeeper. If he is not marked, the goalkeeper plays through him. Otherwise, the keeper has multiple options for distribution, and if he is not being pressured, he may also score goals. The defending team should form a triangle and close down the goalkeeper. A constant back-and-forth between attack and defence develops.
Tip
- After losing possession, the team must immediately switch to defence. - The ball is constantly in the danger zone. - The faster and more precisely the goalkeeper distributes, the more chances the team in possession has. - Playing time should not exceed 1 minute before taking a break. - Continuously demand a high tempo. - The attacking players should constantly attempt to dribble. - The defenders must constantly shift and put pressure on the player in possession. - 2 full-size goal(s)
