Set up a cone rectangle according to the diagram. In the centre of the field, a cone goal is set up. Three teams of 4 are formed.
Procedure
Two of the teams of 4 enter the cone rectangle. The players of the third team distribute themselves along the outside of the field. The two teams of 4 in the centre have unlimited touches and play 4 vs 4. They try to score through the cone goal in the centre. Goals can be scored by simply passing the ball through the cone goal. Goals can be scored from both sides. The 4 outside players serve as passing options for the team in possession. They have one touch and may not score goals themselves. Every 2 minutes the teams rotate. Variation: Goals can only be scored if the pass through the cone goal is received by a teammate on the other side.
Tip
- Both teams should be in constant motion. Players continuously try to make themselves available as passing options for their teammates. - Play one-twos. - After losing the ball, immediately transition to defence; after winning the ball, immediately transition to attack. - Exploit the numerical advantage by involving the outside players. - Form triangles to create passing options. - In the defensive unit, spaces should be cleverly blocked. - 4 cones
