Setup

  • Cones to mark the playing field
  • Set up 4 adjacent fields
  • Divide into teams of 4 players

Procedure

In the left square, a 4 vs 2 possession game is played. If the outnumbered team wins the ball, it is passed to the right square. The 2 grey and 2 red players shift to the right. There, Team Grey attempts to maintain possession in a 4 vs 2 situation.

Tip

Coaching Points

  • One player channels, the other presses
  • After winning the ball: immediate switching of play (transition moment)
  • After losing the ball: the player closest to the ball immediately engages in counter-pressing
